LSS is the first independent short film festival in Baldo-Garda. It was born in 2024 as an offshoot of the Liberamente Cavaion film club which, after over 10 years spent bringing arthouse and non-arthouse cinema to the suburbs, created an ad hoc space for new videomakers - so as to act as a cash register of resonance for debuting products, but of great value.

LSS represented for Liberamente a great leap forward in the cinematographic proposal of film clubs, qualifying the association not only as a community capable of re-proposing more important works by reading them through a particular critical lens, but also proposing something new, original and innovative. The possibility of recovering the short films from previous editions on this platform with comments from the jurors and selectors has increased the longevity and scope of the proposal.
However, the basis of everything remains Cinema. LSS is this: shining a light between independent cinema and the Liberamente audience.
